CompuGroup Medical addresses utilization of blockchain and machine learning at ArMA conference

CompuGroup Medical (CGM) recently addressed how the utilization of blockchain and machine learning through applications in healthcare assists by providing better information, decision support, as well as more reliable and secure data storage to doctors at the point of patient care.

On Saturday, March 16th, 2019 the Arizona Medical Association (ArMA) held its 5th annual ArMA Spring Conference (formerly known as the ArMA Physician Leadership Conference) at the world renowned Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona. The Arizona Medical Association is the largest organization in the state that represents the interests of all physicians. CGM was approached by ArMA to participate in their 2019 spring conference after they learned about the innovations and work that CGM was doing during a meeting at the US headquarters in Phoenix.

Each year, ArMA hosts conferences focused on education for Arizona physicians. This year’s focus for the 2019 Spring Conference was the use of computers that assist physicians with complex learning to help them to synthesize the exceptional wealth of medical data available for ways to better serve the patient population.

CGM carried a strong presence at this year’s conference as both a corporate sponsor and provider of two featured speakers. Werner Rodorff, CTO CGM GAT delivered a presentation “The Principles of Machine Learning & Applications in Healthcare.” Chris Lohl, CTO CGM US AIS, highlighted the use of “Blockchain and Healthcare.” Both presentations were very well received by the medical community. ArMA featured each CGM presentation in their online digital magazine, The Arizona Pulse.

“I am proud of our team and their ability to work so closely with the medical community. It was a great event and we will continue to support the ArMA and local medical community,” stated Benedikt Brueckle, CEO of CGM, Inc. With such a collaborative approach to educating doctors on emerging technology, CGM is better able to carry a strong presence and serve the medical community.
