Wednesday, August 14, 2013, will mark Patient Appreciation Day at all eight Teche Action Clinic sites run by Executive Director, Dr. Gary M. Wiltz, who is also the next board chair for the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC).

As a trusted Healthcare Software Solutions provider for over 25 years and leader in the Federally Qualified Health Center market, CompuGroup Medical is proud to support the drive to keep the important achievements of the nation's community health centers in the forefront of the minds of policymakers, the media and the general public.

Teche Action Clinic is a major participant in the community health center segment, as they strive to become a recognized leader at all levels, in the delivery of safe, quality comprehensive primary and preventative healthcare.

National Health Center Week is an annual event organized by the National Association of Community Health Centers to recognize the contribution of community health centers across the nation in the delivery of comprehensive, high-quality preventive and primary health care to patients, including the most vulnerable populations, regardless of their ability to pay.

"National Health Center Week would not be the tremendous nationwide celebration it is without the support and involvement of sponsors like CompuGroup Medical," said Marc Wetherhorn, Senior Director of Advocacy and Civic Engagement at the National Association of Community Health Centers. "We are extremely grateful for CompuGroup Medical's commitment to the success and growth of America's Health Centers."

On the company's support for the NHCW events at Teche Action Clinic, CompuGroup Medical US CEO Norbert Fischl said, "We have a longstanding partnership with Teche Action Clinic, one that has lasted for more than a decade, and they are currently users of our CGM ENTERPRISE EHR and PM software solutions. We are proud to support Teche Action Clinic during this important observance as a business and software technology partner. It is at the core of our business understanding to demonstrate commitment to our relationships and the success of our community health center clients in their own pursuit to provide quality care to the diverse populations they serve."

As part of the Patient Appreciation Day celebrations, Dr. Gary M. Wiltz, Chief Executive Officer of Teche Action Clinic, will hold a press conference at the Clinic's main site in Franklin.

Invited guests comprise the state senator and representative, local government officials, mayors, parish president, parish council members, city council members, local organizations, and the general community.
