Amidst the global pandemic of COVID-19, the Arizona Medical Association (ArMA) chose CompuGroup Medical as its preferred vendor for telemedicine, actively promoting CGM ELVI Telemedicine to new customers throughout the state.

In the days that followed, at least five more state associations did the same: Louisiana, South Carolina, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Virginia.

In the United States, nearly two-thirds of all physicians are members of their state's medical association.

In recent weeks, countless healthcare providers have adopted CGM ELVI telemedicine in the United States.

"These associations communicate to their members that CGM ELVI is their preferred telemedicine software," said Vice President of Sales Tillmann Schwabe. "They're partnering up with us in order to bring their members access to a telemedicine platform with a goal of mitigating the spread of COVID-19."

While CGM continues to seek out new partnerships to promote CGM ELVI, ArMA was the first.

ArMA operates on behalf of its member physicians with the worthwhile mission to promote leadership in the art and science of medicine and advocate for economically sustainable medical practices, the freedom to deliver care in the best interests of patients, and the health of all people living in Arizona.

Throughout the pandemic, CGM offered our telemedicine solution at no initial cost to providers in the United States.

"CGM's commitment to deliver our telehealth solution to physicians at no initial cost satisfies ArMA's mission to provide Arizonans with the best possible care at a time when a routine visit to the doctor's office could put a patient and practice staff at risk of contracting COVID-19," Senior Vice President USA Benedikt Brueckle said.

Around the world, CompuGroup Medical continues to do its part as a leader in the fight against COVID-19.
