FQHC Advisory board volunteer request

CGM's Product and Business teams enjoy working with different stakeholders to ensure we are keeping abreast of market needs and solicit feedback from practices across different specialties and settings. This year we would like to start a formal advisory board/council to work with Federally Qualified Health Clinics, or FQHCs. We anticipate virtual meetings approximately once a quarter.

Are you interested in participating? Please send an email to info.us@cgm.com with "CGM FQHC Advisory Board Volunteer" in the subject line. Thanks for being a part of the wider CGM community.

CGM Portal - Latest News

With the implementation of our “Latest News” section in the CGM Portal dashboard, we wanted to be sure that our customers and partners know that this location is where you should expect to see a number of important and useful announcements.

We will leverage this to post critical alerts related to CGM solutions or partners, new release notifications, support and service updates, and much more. Please review this regularly and check back for critical issues, notifications, and updates.

Mailbox decommissioned

As a final reminder, as of January 1, 2024, we no longer accept CGM APRIMA ticket creation emails via the aprimaclientsupport@emds.com or aprimaclientsupport@aprima.com email addresses.

With the new CGM Portal fully rolled out and providing multiple avenues to create new support tickets, including capabilities to view, filter, and update existing tickets, we have fully transitioned away from these mailboxes to create a ticket with our support team. You can also still reach us at (877)-564-4414 between 8 AM and 8 PM ET Monday through Friday for non-critical requests and 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for down system support.

Be aware that we will continue to use the aprimaclientsupport@emds.com address for other support related communications, such as notifications and upgrade scheduling. Know that this address will produce a bounce back reminding that that email it that it should no longer be utilized for ticket creation.

Lastly, this in no way impacts ticket updates/communications via the support@emds-us.cgm.com email address. This can still be utilized to REPLY and update your existing CGM support tickets. Note, this too should not be used to create tickets.

Patches Released and Installation Required

CGM PRACTICE PARTNER released two new patches on December 7 and 15, to v11.2.1, that are now available for installation. Please visit the CGM PRACTICE PARTNER Documentation page for additional details on what was in included in these updates.

With the release of these patches, please be aware that we are transitioning diagnosis/problem code vendors to Intelligent Medical Objects (IMO). This change should have little impact on your day-to-day workflows but will require that ALL customers get upgraded to this patch level by no later than March 31, 2024, as services through our previous partner will be terminated at that time. If you have not upgraded to this patch by the March 31 date, you will no longer be able to search for diagnosis/problem codes within CGM PRACTICE PARTNER until the patch is applied.

With this change, you should also ensure that your CGM PRACTICE PARTNER client and server devices are all able to access https://terminology.emdscloud.com. This will prevent any disruptions to your look-up services after the upgrade.

If you have any questions, please reach out to CGM PRACTICE PARTNER Support for further assistance.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR PRACTICE PARNTER BILLING ONLY CUSTOMERS

For customers who are using PRACTICE PARTNER Medical Billing ONLY, and who are not utilizing patient records, please contact Support before upgrading to the latest patches containing IMO to ensure this upgrade is successful.

Lastly, be on the lookout for a follow-up patch in early February that you will also want to be installed as soon as possible. That patch will contain an update to our code signing certificates, which expires on March 8. Code signing certificates are used to verify that the software you use has not been altered or compromised. However, if the code signing certificate patch is not applied by March 8 (the expiration date of our current CSC), it won’t prevent the application from being used, but will require that all patches be installed as an Administrator until you’ve patched to the release with the signing certificate update.
