CompuGroup Medical SE & Co. KGaA (CGM) and Gilles Morard-Lacroix, Thierry Maure and Olivier Dagallier have signed an agreement regarding the sale and purchase of 100 % of the shares of the Aatlanta Group (AG). AG’s key product is “Acteur”, the leading ambulatory information system in France for healthcare centers. CompuGroup Medical is thereby strengthening its position in France, complementing its portfolio to address this growing sector. In 2020, AG had revenues of EUR 5 million with 12.000 customers. Closing of the transaction is expected for June 2021.
“With the acquisition of the Aatlanta Group we answer to the evolution of practices in the healthcare market. Today, healthcare professionals need more and more solutions enabling care coordination between different healthcare providers. Having ’Acteur’ in our portfolio allows us to significantly expand CGM’s solutions in France to respond to healthcare centers’ needs,” said Franck Frayer, Senior Vice President Physician Information Systems Europe.
As a major e-health player worldwide, CGM has already been the leader of Ambulatory Information Systems in France with its brands AxiSanté, HelloDoc and VEGA. This acquisition confirms CGM’s strategy in France to provide a global portfolio to support all types of healthcare organizations and professionals in the ambulatory sector. Additionally, it will allow to connect all healthcare professionals and their patients via CLICKDOC – the online communication platform which supported professionals and patients by offering teleconsultation service free of charge during the first months of the COVID-19 crisis.
“AG’s customers and their patients are expected to highly benefit from synergies with CGM’s product portfolio, especially from CLICKDOC teleconsultation and online appointment booking,” said Olivier Dagallier, General Manager of Aatlanta Group.
Today, AG’s customer base consists of 12.000 providers across the ambulatory market segment, working in individual practices and healthcare centers. With this acquisition, CGM achieves an additional market leader position in the segment of healthcare centers in France.
