CompuGroup Medical appoints Thorsten Herrmann to head the German business

Koblenz – CompuGroup Medical, one of the world’s leading e-health companies, has appointed Thorsten Herrmann as Managing Director for its German home and core market, effective April 1, 2026. Thorsten Herrmann brings 30 years of leadership experience in the IT industry, most recently as Country Leader Germany and Senior Vice President Technology at U.S.-based Oracle. Previously, the expert in complex sales strategies, digital transformation and partner ecosystem development held roles including Managing Director and General Manager for Microsoft Germany, as well as Vice President and Managing Director at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. In his new role, Thorsten Herrmann will be responsible for all customer segments of CGM’s German business. This includes not only healthcare providers such as doctors’ and dentists’ practices, hospitals and pharmacies, but also the health insurance and industry business. The graduate in business informatics began his career at IBM.
