CompuGroup Medical appoints Dr. Guido Schroeder as Chief Product & Technology Officer

CompuGroup Medical SE & Co. KGaA (CGM) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Guido Schroeder as Chief Product & Technology Officer, effective today. Dr. Guido Schroeder joins CGM with an impressive track record of more than 25 years in technology leadership and product innovation, having served in key roles at leading global organizations. Most recently, Guido served as Chief Technology Officer at Cegid, spearheading the company's ambitious innovation strategy and overseeing the development of cutting-edge cloud and enterprise solutions for over 750,000 customers worldwide. Prior to this, he was Chief Development Officer at Conviva and held CTO and SVP Engineering roles at Hitachi Vantara, where he drove digital transformation and product synergies across the portfolio. Earlier in his career, he was Vice President Development for NetWeaver Advanced Technologies at SAP, leading international teams and pioneering advancements in analytics, data integration, and business process management. Most notably, Guido played a pivotal role at Splunk, where he was instrumental in building and scaling the company’s product and technology platform - a true masterpiece that helped establish Splunk as one of the most successful enterprise software companies of the past decade. His ability to combine technical excellence with business impact has become a hallmark of his leadership

In his new capacity as Chief Product & Technology Officer, Guido will be responsible for driving CGM’s global product and technology strategy, strengthening the company’s innovation pipeline, and advancing CGM’s mission to empower healthcare professionals through state-of-the-art digital solutions. His international leadership experience and passion for delivering customer-centric innovations make him ideally suited to lead CGM’s technology vision in a fast-evolving healthcare landscape.
