Study: CompuGroup Medical is Germany's most innovative software company

CompuGroup Medical (CGM) is Germany's most innovative software company. This is the result of a study conducted by IMWF Institut für Management- und Wirtschaftsforschung on behalf of Focus Money and Deutschland-Test. This means that CGM is among the most innovative companies in this industry for the third year in a row.

In 2021, CompuGroup Medical even managed to achieve first place among all software companies evaluated, leaving several well-known and much larger corporations behind.

The company has most recently launched several groundbreaking projects - many of them in the wake of the Corona pandemic, such as the massive expansion of video consultations or solutions to support vaccinations.

Another innovation project is THERAFOX: this module is integrated directly into the doctor software and analyzes the patient data stored there. If there is a risk of a side effect, interaction or other incompatibility, the doctor is warned and can prescribe a different drug if necessary.

For the study "Germany's most innovative companies 2021," the IMWF Institute evaluated more than 400 million online sources such as news or social media content. Decisive for the overall performance are equal parts innovation activity, investments, research and development, product innovations and technology. For a strong overall result, a company must be convincing in all of the above areas.
