COMPUGROUP MEDICAL MALAYSIA AND GLOBAL DOCTORS HOSPITAL SIGNED A 5-YEAR ALLIANCE TO FACILITATE HEALTHCARE OPERATIONS USING PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL OFFICE (PMO)

Kuala Lumpur, 10 February 2014: CompuGroup Medical Malaysia (CGM) and Global Doctors Hospital, today announced a 5-year alliance to create an innovative business model towards enabling patient-centered approaches for the delivery of care. CGM Malaysia will provide the Clinical Management System called Professional Medical Office (PMO) to enhance operational efficiency in their private clinics and specialist center.

CGM Malaysia will provide a comprehensive range of maintenance services with pre-determined operational costs over the 5-year term.

Global Doctors have been using PMO as pilot installations in two of their clinics in the Klang Valley. As the pilot has delivered highly satisfactory results, the roll out of PMO will now be extended to the hospital and medical center in Mont’ Kiara.

The Executive Chairman of Global Doctors Group, Dato' Dr. Sharifah Fauziah Al Habshi said, “We have been using the system in our clinics and have witnessed how it has enhanced our services and are keen to expand the utilization of the system not just in our hospital, but to our other partner clinics in the region as well (China, Thailand and Indonesia). We trust this partnership, as both Global Doctors and CGM share a dedication to excellence in patient care and a desire to be at the forefront of the healthcare industry”.

She added, “PMOis essentially a state-of-art application which has helped us in managing the seamless flow of patient clinical information throughout the different departments and points of care such as reception, consultation, treatment, referral and follow up. To optimise your ROI, you need a good billing system which PMO has it. By using PMO Billing, our profit has consistently been on the uptrend by more than 20%.“

“The fact that PMO is so detailed and precise, it has helped us tremendously in our work processes by enhancing efficiency in patient billing, clinical documentation and stock management, just to name a few. It is also a very user friendly system, which makes it easy for the staff to learn how to use the system to its maximal potential,” opined the Group Nursing Director of Global Doctors, Suhaila Mohd. Kassim.

"We are here to make a difference and we want to positively contribute to the healthcare industry. Our utmost goal is to provide healthcare providers a software to grow their business,"said Dr. Jens Stief, Managing Director CGM Malaysia.
