Czech doctors will evaluate the cooperation with insurance companies in the competition “CGM Health Insurance Company of the year 2016”

Prague, 9th September 2016 - The second year of the project „CGM Health Insurance Company of the year 2016“ finished its first part, in which 155 hospital directors evaluated the quality of cooperation with insurance companies. All Czech practicing physicians can express feedback on all czech insurance companies from September 10. The project is organized by the HealthCare Institute in cooperation with the CompuGroup Medical Czech Republic.

All practicing physicians in the Czech Republic may comment on cooperation with insurance companies in the period from September 10 to October 7 through a poll on the portal CGM World. The portal serves primarily to physicians to communicate amongst themselves, with company CGM, such as counseling and intermediary for the education of physicians in the form of e-learning courses. "We are pleased that our portal will allow CGM World outpatient physicians to evaluate health insurance. I am convinced that this project will help both doctors and insurers in setting mutually beneficial financing terms ambulances," says Jan Hlaváček, general manager of the company CompuGroup Medical Czech Republic, adding: "I believe that voting will also appreciate the information that the portal will find."

Evaluation of the second round of the "CGM Health Insurance 2016" will take place in October. Overall results will be announced in November at the conference Efficient hospital 2016.

The General Health Insurance Company won at the hospital directors

During March, the topic of quality assessment with insurers surveyed 155 directors of hospitals. In the first place he placed the General Health Insurance Company of the Czech Republic, the other Insurance Company Škoda and the third place Revírní Fraternal Treasury.

"The annual results of the first phase of the second edition of the survey CGM Health Insurance 2016 from the perspective of the hospital's directors pointed out that the Czech Republic is formed between the health insurance market more competitive," says Daniel Vavřina, founder of the HealthCare Institute and co-author of the project and added: "We believe that competetion will evolve and its benefits gradually bring even insured patients only good. Outpatient doctor is perceived as one of the basic pillars of healthcare provision in the Czech Republic and we will be very happy if they give us their vote in the second phase of a nationwide survey to give feedback on cooperation with health insurance companies."

About the HealthCare Institute

HealthCare Institute, o.p.s. (Founded 2006) is a non-profit organization in 2016, organizes the 11th annual Central European expert conference "Effective hospital" strategy-focused hospitals. This conference will take place from 29th to 30th November 2016 in Prague. Participants of this event are the founders and top management of hospitals and health insurance companies from the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic, including experts in health management from the European Union. Through the project "Barometer among students of 4th, 5th and 6th years of medical faculties in the Czech Republic" determined what amount of medical students in the Czech Republic is planning to post-graduate studies to seek employment in the Czech Republic and also how much students already decided to leave Czech Republic and seek jobs abroad. Other development projects include a nationwide survey "Barometer of the Czech healthcare among patient organizations," which assesses the provision of hospital and ambulatory care in the Czech Republic through the eyes of 150 patients' organizations and also assists in communication between patients and patient organizations.
