CompuGroup Medical finished the first phase of E-health project in e-learning for health professionals. Education will open for wide public

Prague, 13th July 2015 – CompuGroup Medical (CGM) finished the first phase of „E-health – further education of health employees in South Moravia“. The workshops were attended by 70 hospital and ambulant workers who had a unique chance to try e-learning environment and get an insight into education workshops creation.

Project than ran from 1st May 2014 to 30th June 2015 introduced health professionals to the eHealth field from both theoretical and practical point of view and informed them about options that Czech doctors can gain. CGM has long term participated in development of eHealth in Czech Republic and e-learning is one of the steps to prepare doctors and health staff for the coming computerization.

“We’ve already got feedback that is more than positive. The participants like the user environment, accessibility and ease of control as well as the self-study form and content of individual workshops,” says Mgr. Zuzana Jandorová, Team Leader of Human Resources and adds: “It’s the best proof the e-learning way is the right one and it is necessary to keep developing it.”

The first education program was focused on General principles of eHealth and the participants learned what sensitive data are and how to legally work with them. They were also informed about security issues related to the Internet and how to effectively avoid these issues.

The second workshop was focused on General software solutions for eHealth and eHealth in practice. It described the capabilities of ePrescription, eSicknote, process of digital data sharing between doctors and health facilities or options for electronic communications with health insurances. It also showed the benefits brought by online communication between doctors and their patients.

The last workshop was focused on Specialized software solutions and introduced participants to individual products of CompuGroup Medical. Health professionals were taught to fully use the software with all its benefits to secure more fluent operation of their medical offices.

CompuGroup Medical gained this project based on request for financial support. The “E-health – further education of health employees in South Moravia” is registered under number CZ.1.07/3.2.04/06.0033. This project is executed within global grant Support for further education in South Moravia and co-financed by European social fond and budget of Czech Republic.
