Corona virus: Many doctors opt for video consultation

March 13, 2020

Already 5’000 doctors have decided to register for CLICKDOC VIDEOSPRECHSTUNDE in the context of the current corona virus wave. Since last week, CompuGroup Medical (CGM) has been providing doctors with its video consultation solution free of charge. This enables doctors, practice teams and other patients to escape the risk of infection by patients suspected of being infected with Covid-19 in many cases.

"Applications such as the video consultation make it possible for me and my practice team to act quickly and effectively for the patients in this acute situation," explains Dr. Kenan Katmer. The specialist for internal and general medicine from Bochum recently decided to use the CLICKDOC VIDEOSPRECHTUNE in the context of the Corona Pandemic. "In this current situation, every patient with flu-like symptoms is also a risk for me as a doctor, family father, for the practice team and other patients. With the video consultation hour this risk can be minimized.

In response to the Covid-19 virus, which is spreading worldwide, CompuGroup Medical had decided to make its video consultation solution available to all doctors free of charge until further notice. The aim is to enable physicians to care for their patients without having them to visit the doctor's office. Since the start of the campaign, approximately 5’000 doctors have already registered for this video consultation.
